The Chamandy Foundation is pleased to announce that we will be accepting Letters of Intent starting February 12 to February 23, 2024. As it is the focus of our foundation, only initiatives where children and youth (pregnancy to age 35) are the primary beneficiaries will be considered.

We will be prioritizing grassroots organizations led by the community and populations they serve and that meet one, or many, of the following criteria:

Populations Served:

  • Disabled Children & Youth
  • Newcomers
  • BIPOC
  • 2SLGBTQAI+
  • Youth in Care
  • The Unhoused
  • Low-income

Focus Areas:

  • Healthy Minds & Bodies
    • (i.e. Food Safety, Mental Health, Medical Care)
  • Safe Housing
    • (i.e. Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing)
  • Engaged Education
    • (i.e. Early Childhood Education, School Perseverance, STEM promotion, Environmental Education)
  • Nurturing Communities
    • (i.e. Fight against Sexual Exploitation and Violence, Community Environmental Engagement, Community Building and Healing)

If you are interested in seeking funding, please submit a 1-2 page (maximum) Letter of Intent that outlines your organizational mission, population(s) served, area of focus, the amount, duration and purpose of the funding.

Our next Board Meetings are scheduled for August and November of 2024. If selected, your application could be presented as late of November of 2024, depending upon the volume and quality of applications received.

Please submit your letter to info@chamandyfoundation.org. Due to the very small size of our team, we will not be able to have any introductory meetings with organizations until we have reviewed all LOIs received.

Letters of Intent received before February 12th or after the 23rd will not be accepted.
