Emergency Fund

The Chamandy Foundation establishes an Emergency Response Fund.

In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic, The Chamandy Foundation acted quickly to establish an emergency fund to support its partner organizations. We recognized the strain placed on community organizations to pivot their services and meet increased demand, due to public health and economic pressures. Our priority was to quickly disburse funds to organizations so new and modified services could be deployed, often in communities that were less equipped to deal with the new realities of life in a pandemic.

At the Chamandy Foundation we understand that community-based organizations are often faced with challenging situations, as they support communities experiencing heightened vulnerability. To stay agile in our support of new and existing partners we have maintained the Emergency Response Fund as part of our annual operations.
